Herbal Update June 1, 2021

Earlier today, I submitted all the assignments for the Ethnobotany module in the Phytotherapy Program at Heart of Herbs. I now move onto the Microbiology module.

In a few more modules, I will be beginning the Master Clinical Herbalist course portion of the program. That is when I plan to post these Herbal Updates a bit more frequently.

Herbal Blessings!

No Recipes Again

Last weekend was busy for me! Which was great, in a way, since it was the first busy weekend for me in a while. But it also meant that I didn’t get a chance to bake or cook. So, there will not be a recipe update this week.

I do plan to post and herbal update later in the week though, so stayed tuned!

Friday Cooking January 29, 2021

So I know earlier in the week I posted how on Friday I was planning to switch things up a bit and make something out of the Gourmet Today cookbook. However, sometimes plans change and the weather in southern New England today calls for a hearty soup. So, I’m back to making an Ina recipe. I’ll be making Winter Minestrone & Garlic Bruschetta out of Foolproof. I can’t wait to try this recipe since I am a big fan of minestrone soups in general. They’re so hearty. Especially in the winter.

Hey!

I hope everyone had a glorious Thanksgiving! My family and I appreciated the different style of celebrating that 2020 brought us. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to cook any Ina recipes for Thanksgiving. I know, I’m as upset as you all are! But, I did cook something Saturday night for dinner, the post will come tomorrow!

And what’s different about this one is it is NOT an Ina recipe! Her recipes will return soon though…stay tuned, as always!
